Travis Franks, CFP®
Associate Financial Advisor
Travis Franks joined Prosperity Planning as a Client Services Specialist and was later promoted to Associate Financial Advisor. After completing Prosperity Planning's summer internship program in 2023, Travis returned to the firm following his graduation from the University of Missouri, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Personal Financial Planning.
As an Associate Financial Advisor, Travis enjoys getting to know clients and helping them make thoughtful decisions about their financial lives. He works closely with individuals and families to understand what matters most to them and build financial plans around their goals, priorities, and circumstances. His work encompasses many areas of a client’s financial life, including retirement planning, investments, tax planning, insurance, and estate planning. Travis especially enjoys making complex financial topics easier to understand and helping clients feel informed and supported as they plan for what’s ahead.
Originally from Branson and Columbia, Missouri, Travis has always enjoyed following Kansas City's hometown sports teams, especially the Chiefs and Sporting Kansas City. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Layla, and their dog, Koda. He can often be found smoking (or eating) barbecue, attending sporting events, or reading a good historical fiction novel.
