Shayna Vlock
Financial Planning Associate
Shayna Vlock is a Financial Planning Associate who works behind the scenes to help prepare for client meetings, follow through on client needs, and make sure clients feel well taken care of. She enjoys working with people in all phases of life and getting to know each client and the unique story behind their financial situation. Shayna finds it rewarding to know that the work she does can make a meaningful difference, whether a client is preparing for retirement, starting a family, or pursuing another important goal.
Shayna earned her Bachelor of Science in Personal Financial Planning at Kansas State University. During college, she helped fellow students manage their finances and joined Prosperity Planning as an intern in 2025, where she gained valuable experience working with real client situations. Shayna has always considered herself a "numbers person," but she knew she wanted a career that was about more than numbers—it needed to be about people, too. Financial planning turned out to be the perfect combination. She especially enjoys applying what she has learned to help clients make informed decisions and put their money to work for them.
Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Shayna moved to Kansas City and is enjoying making Kansas City home. Outside of work, she enjoys going for walks, trying new coffee shops, and cooking. She grew up boating and spending time on the water and loves the peace and tranquility that comes with being on the lake. For Shayna, time at the lake is a chance to slow down, enjoy the outdoors, and make memories with the people she loves.
