At her core, Alyssa Hon is passionate about helping people thrive and ensuring every client feels genuinely supported. Serving in a dual role as Wealth Manager and Director of Marketing, she gets to focus on two things she cares deeply about: building meaningful relationships and creating memorable, engaging experiences for the families Prosperity Planning serves.
As a Wealth Manager, Alyssa works side-by-side with clients to understand what matters most to them, bringing all the puzzle pieces of their financial lives into clear focus. As Director of Marketing, she brings that same heart to client appreciation efforts and community events—giving clients, their families, and the team opportunities to connect on a personal level far beyond numbers and spreadsheets.
Alyssa’s heart for service has always been her driving force. Early in her career, she searched for a way to connect her background in accounting and finance with her desire to make a direct, positive impact on people’s lives. An inspiring conversation with Wealth Manager Dan Reiter, CFP®, CPA, opened her eyes to financial planning. She went on to earn her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification, perfectly blending her love for numbers with her passion for helping others.
Outside the office, Alyssa is a former Marine, a cancer survivor, and above all, devoted to her family. She and her husband love raising their twins and youngest daughter in Weston, Missouri. Life at home is a family affair—the kids especially love caring for their chickens and heading out each day to collect fresh eggs. Whether they’re gathering around the coop, enjoying the outdoors, or taking family trips to Colorado, as long as they’re together, they’re having fun.
