The evening of dining and humor raises funds for Synergy Services.

KANSAS CITY, Mo.—October 17, 2022—Prosperity Planning is honored to support Synergy Services by sponsoring its 16th annual Stand Up for Synergy fundraiser.

Synergy Services is a Parkville nonprofit helping families in crisis. Its programs are designed to heal trauma and build resilience in individuals to create strong families and safe communities.

Over the past 15 years, Stand Up for Synergy has raised money that “provided thousands of hours of therapy for abused children, hundreds of nights of safe places for women fleeing domestic violence, and case management for over 1,000 homeless teens in Kansas City,” reports the event webpage.

The fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa. There will be cocktails, dinner, an auction, and a performance by nationally acclaimed comedian, Jenny Slate.
