Kenneth Borum

Partner and Chief Financial Officer

Ken Borum is a Partner and Chief Financial Officer for Prosperity Planning. He co-founded Prosperity Planning after becoming disillusioned with the wealth management process that he had experienced. His vision was to create a firm that he would be excited to retain as his family’s wealth manager—one that, at a reasonable price, combined expertise and discipline with a personal touch.

Ken oversees both Prosperity Planning’s finances and business development. His responsibilities include sales, long-term planning, and financial and people management. Ken’s background includes a successful career in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.  He has also partnered in other successful startups and frequently consults with other small business owners.

A resident of Parkville, Missouri, Ken appreciates time and travel with his family, including two young grandchildren. He and his wife, Nancy-Ray, are very compatible travel partners and enjoy unique travel experiences worldwide, especially in Italy. His hobby is golf and Ken enjoys weekly outings with friends and has been privileged to travel with them to historic courses in Scotland and Ireland.
