Divorce financial planning is a specialized area of financial planning that helps individuals navigate the complex financial issues that arise before, during, and after a divorce.
At Prosperity Planning we support our clients by going beyond simply assisting in the division of assets. We develop a plan to empower you to understand the long-term financial impact of the divorce so you can feel secure and confident about your future.

If you already have an attorney, we will partner with them to support you through the divorce process. If you’ve not yet hired an attorney, we can help you find one.
It is important to start as early as possible. Even if you are not 100% sure you are getting divorced, our team will help you understand your current financial situation and possible scenarios for the future.
Examples of complex finances include multiple investment properties, business interests, and other illiquid assets. In addition, divorcing couples may need research to value separate property held prior to the marriage.
