Cindy Richey CFP® - President
 
Cindy is dedicated to helping clients realize long-term financial independence while enjoying life today. In addition being a Certified Financial Planner® practitioner, she holds the designations of Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Cindy has been employed in the financial services industry since 1988. Her financial advice has been featured in the Kansas City Star, INGRAM’S magazine, and televised on KMBC News. She also conducts financial workshops for public and private audiences. Cindy and her family reside in Parkville, Missouri.
Ken Borum –  Principal and Senior Vice President
 
After retiring from a successful career in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, Ken co-founded Prosperity Planning in 2004 as a way to help investors organize and manage their financial affairs and pursue their lifetime goals. His education includes a bachelor’s degree from Central Missouri State University and a master’s degree from Indiana University. Ken has been active in the Kansas City Northland community since 1975 as a resident and a business owner.
 

 

 
Debbie Ellison  – Client Service Manager
 
Debbie joined Prosperity Planning in 2005 and has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She is a graduate of Kansas State University where she earned a B.S. in Business and Education. She has true passion for serving clients and is often the first point of contact for appointments and account service. Debbie and her husband have been residents of the Kansas City Northland since 1997.
 
 
 
 
Ryan Noble CFP® – Associate Financial Planner
 
Ryan began working in the financial services industry in 2005 and joined Prosperity Planning in 2009. He works closely with our team to provide financial planning and investment recommendations and earned his Certified Financial Planner® designation in September 2011.  Ryan graduated from Pittsburg State University with a dual major in Finance and Management. While there, he earned several distinctions including the Outstanding Senior Award and the Outstanding Student Athlete Award. He is a native of Dodge City, Kansas and resides with his familiy in Roeland Park, Kansas.
 
 
 

Patti Pluenneke –  Client Service Associate
 
Patti provides technical support for financial analysis and account service. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Kansas State University. Formerly a Senior Accountant for Farmland Industries, she and her family reside in Parkville, Missouri.
